Mark was up at 2:00 am and never came back to bed. His body was aching and his mind was racing from the work day on Saturday. Right after breakfast around 7:30 am he got ready for church sat on the recliner with his feet up and fell asleep. I let him sleep until 7 minutes from 9:00 am then had to wake him up as we needed to pick up Rhonda by 9:00 am. Church was amazing. David had the mother's day service and this one is like NO OTHER Mother's day message I've ever heard. Truly you should listen to this message and can by clicking HERE. The young group and the professionals served lunch and made sure all the ladies got a seat at the first setting. Rebekah and Brian came to be with Ruth as tonight they were going to be with Dan and Donna. Of course she brought Micah over for great grandma.

Mother's Day 2024
Mike Kaisner had the afternoon message click HERE to watch that. We took Ruth, Berlica and Braelyn home from church as Ruth needed a ride and the wheel chair van was full. Ruth was dropped off first then we took both Berlica and Braelyn to Joan's. They changed then walked over here to help make rice crispy treats for our dessert tonight.
Mike asked them to go riding so he could take Dancer out on the trails.
Above they are taking Missy and Mika to the barn to tack up, below Braelyn is holding Mika while Berlica is tying up Missy.
Right about then Nolan and Sarah arrived with Zion, Eden and River. Zion rode double on Mika while Eden and River got to go with me on the trails while riding on the golf cart.
Below is a short video of their ride.
When it came time to cross the creek Zion hopped off Mika and joined us on the golf cart for the ride home as it was almost 4:30 pm and we were eating at the barn at that time. The kids brought the meal tonight. Rhoda bought a big brisket, Nolan smoked that and also brought pulled pork. We had salad, corn casserole, fresh home made baked bread Sarah made and lots of other sides. There was an abundance of food. When we knew we couldn't eat it all some was taken over to Karin's house and some was taken over to Joan's house. We were joined tonight by Austin, Dennis and Gertie. We love sharing family times with our shared children and grand children. There was no volley ball tonight as most of the players were with their mothers. Eden and River loved playing on the sand volley ball court.
Taegan was giving rides on the golf cart so Austin jumped on and grabbed a ride to the playground.
Irish and Zeke went swimming in the lake and stayed there most of the evening. They love swimming and stayed until it was time to leave. Rhoda and Lee went inside, cleaned up the kitchen, got the dishwasher going then went to mom's to pick up Nancy. She was so happy to take a ride home with them.
They brought their small black Prius and I really didn't want them to take her as it is pretty crowded with those 2 car seats. Lee jumped in the trunk.
I had to go into the barn to get some of the left over food and when I got back with that Mark told me Lee got out of the trunk so I think he decided it would be more comfortable to ride between the 2 car seats. I'm sure he was legal all the way to Morton. It really was a wonderful Mother's Day. I'm thankful for each one of my children, their spouses and absolutely LOVE my grandchildren.
