Made it down

We were up and on the road by 5:30 am. The drive was uneventful and made it here 2 hours earlier than expected.  Mom, Aunt Jinnie, Joan and the kids were just getting ready to eat lunch so after unpacking Mark and I drove to Walmart and picked up groceries. We had a very easy quiet afternoon. Mark went out on the beach but mom, Aunt Jinnie and I just enjoyed being out on the balcony. Around supper time Joan was working on the fishing poles for tomorrow. When the first one was finished she wanted to take it out to the balcony to get it out of the condo. Mom sitting on her chair stopped her and said, "you can't fish from there it is MUCH too far away. Then laughed and laughed.

The waves were rouegh today so we could not see the dolphins. Supper was a lot of fun too. Joan was serving left over hamburgers and hotdogs. We had picked up some pears that needed to be used so Joan cut those up. Aunt Jinnie came to the table and exclaimed, "oh we are having hamburgers AND fries. Those pears just didn't taste like fries.

After supper Joan and Aunt Jinnie went up to the private hot tub on the roof. Mark used the exercise equipment on the 3rd floor. The picture below is the view off of Mark and my bedroom of Gulf Shores at night. We can see Beth and Greg's house, the lagoon and the beautiful lights of the night. In the distance we can even see the lights of Foley off to the North.
