Dinosaur Paddock

My morning started early as it was going to be another hot day.  Derby, Julie's Paint mare was teased and she said emphatically, "NO".  Julie was sent a message and she arranged for her to be picked up this afternoon by Emily.  Dakota, Jamie Stone's mare was teased next she she said yes.  She was covered by Valiant. The phone was taken out, a picture snapped and Jamie sent that with a text saying, "successful cover".
She was put away and I still had a half hour to clean stalls and feed before it was time for the walk. Jace and Addyson helped with that.  It sure is nice to have grand children around to help open stall doors, scoop up grain, and clean stalls. Mark left for work with Joey and Eric as they were going to help with the landscaping at Meisters.  I left for Sam's to buy the ingredient's for the Berean meal but when I got there they had just made some wonderful chicken pot pies so I picked up 3 of those, two for the Berean meal and 1 for our meal here.  Joan arrived this afternoon with a work crew to start the landscaping here, weeding and moving rocks from one side of the house to the other.

Mark got home and took a garbage run on the golf cart.
He brought Joey and Eric home and instead of resting from their labor they went right to work with Mike on the dinosaur paddock.

We will be stringing high tensile electric fence high and low. Evan's paddock will be strong enough to hold a 'real' dinosaur just in case Jurassic park is really real.
