They showed us their treasures.
The morning was spent finishing up the apartment then working on our house while listening to AC Central. This afternoon Amy came over with a birthday gift. She found this at the IL Horse Fair.
It is painted with a special paint that sparkles in the light. We had a very nice visit. Amy went to the Midwest Horse Fair in Madison, WI over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I knew she would love that fair, all of the vendors that used to come to the IL Horse Fair were there. She filled the car with her finds and for sure will bring a truck next year, there were bargains galore! Farm N Fleet were there selling 5 gallon buckets for $5.00 each and manure forks for $10.00 each of course she had to buy a bunch.
Joan took the truck and picked up the new to us tiller this afternoon. When Mark got home from work he wanted help unloading it and I was more than willing if he would help me move in 3 bales. We work together well sometimes. This will work well with the small Kubota.
Tonight Rosaleigh and Soul were brought into the indoor arena for the night. With the snow on Sunday and all the rain last night and today the paddocks are just too muddy to take a chance on either one delivering. Soul is not due until April 26th and is not really bagged up while Rosaleigh is not due until May 8th but IS bagged up although she is not waxing. I wouldn't even worry except she delivered 3 weeks early last year. Rosaleigh is not happy until Soul is in the arena with her.
Of course she had to come check out the wheel barrow.
Both Rosaleigh and Soul were bred to Evan and both of these mares have the mega hair gene as does Evan. Their foals from last year were so spectacular that we bred them back the same way. Why mess with success.
Beautiful! I will definitely be a regular reader! I love that you have this blog!
