They also sent the paragraph below as a private thank you:
“Dear Judy, Thank you again for a wonderful stay and experience. It was the perfect place for our dogs and relaxing after a long day. I hope that the new baby is doing well. Thank you for making this experience very special. I sure wish we could find something as perfect next year in NY. It was great to meet you as well and thanks for the delicious cookies too.”
I'm disappointed to find out the AKC Collie Nationals will be in New York instead of Peoria.
This morning right after we started walking Ryan, the farmer that puts up our hay sent a text asking if he could borrow more hay. After counting the bales we were able to share 12 bales with him leaving us 32 bales to get us through until the first cutting. He is out of hay for his cows. I had to move Galena and her filly out of the barn and put them in a stall, open the doors and put the key in the tractor before leaving for work. We had another good day at work. If you would like to read about our morning at the Berean office click HERE. As soon as I got home Galena and her filly were put in the round pen so her stall could be cleaned and Lola and her filly were put in the outdoor arena so her stall could be cleaned. Both fillies enjoyed stretching their legs. Lola was thrilled to get out and let out a big buck as she took off running.
She then dropped and rolled while her daughter looked on in shock. She is just 1 day old and hasn't seen her mother rolling and rolling.
Meanwhile Galena's filly was having a ball in the round pen. She is so flashy and such a fancy mover. And to think she is only 4 days old.
Mark arrived home just as I was finishing up. He took the skid steer out, put the big saw attachment on it and started clearing the trees, making a path at the end of the yard where he is going to dig a trench and put drainage tile to stop water from going on the drives.
That 28 inch blade is very effective against briers, thorns and trees.
The weanlings were fed. Below is Ivan, Tatiana's colt by Valiant eating his grain. He was born August 17th 2018 and is just over 7 months old but has the mane of a yearling. It is long and thick. He is one hairy colt. He is registered and DNA'D with Friesian Heritage Horse Registry and is for sale for only $8000.00 Hopefully this next week it will be warm enough to give him a bath and get new pictures and a video for the website.
His half sister, Giselle is also available for $8000.00. She was born July 8th and also registered and DNA'D with Friesian Heritage Horse Registry. Her dam is Roxanne. Check out the length and thickness of her mane in the picture below. She will be a lovely Friesian mare when full grown with that so desired mega hair everyone wants.
This evening the kitchen was cleaned and laundry started. Not that these jobs needed to be done, HA the house and laundry have been sadly neglected since the foaling started last week and nothing had been done inside as all my time was spent working outside. We were almost out of clean dishes and clean clothes. The dishwasher is running the wash machine is on the 3rd load. I'm going to sleep good tonight.
Another booking just came in for the apartment. This one is for 2 people and 1 small non shedding dog coming for 4 days in May. The people coming are actually coming for a babymoon. I had never heard of that until both of my daughters took one when they were expecting.
