Easter Sunday

Mark got up at 3:30 am and started the coffee. That meant at 4:30 am I smelled the coffee and had to get up and drink a couple of cups before Mark got it all.  That makes for a long day. We picked up mom and Nancy at 7:00 am and drove to the fellowship hall for the Easter morning breakfast and service. That was such a blessing. Four different groups sang and the music was truly awesome.  One of the Funk boys had the message and started that with a power point of the pyramids, the terracotta soldiers in China and then the empty garden tomb in Israel.
From there we went to church where Tim Roecker had the Easter message.  We got home by noon and made Gyro's for lunch eating with Karin, Nancy, and mom. After lunch Karin started the trail rides and used 7 of the horses.   Diane, Ruth and Joan came over to the playground to start hiding eggs. Sarah and Nolan arrived with their 2 daughters.
While Eden was eating grandma got to play with Zion.

Tate was riding his unicycle down the drives.
Willow got a driving lesson in the jeep and ended up driving that all over the place. Willow is 15 years old and now drives a stick.
After the trail rides Audrey and Berlica took Missy and Cookie out on the trails all by themselves. They rode for over an hour, sometimes galloping across the fields.
The trampolines are always fun. Below is Mackenson showing off one of his bounces.
Tate showing us how to do flips.
This is one of Rhonda's grandson's, one of Kari and Bret's boys.
We had the cowboy steak for Easter dinner. Karin cooked it and it was done perfectly.  After dinner was the big Easter egg hunt. Everyone found plenty even Nancy.

Below Riley is between her grandparents proudly carrying her bag of Easter Eggs.
Joan had to try out Tate's unicycle. She actually has her own unicycle.
The volley ball games started up as the hunt was on.
If you would like to see the rest of the pictures from this afternoon and evening click HERE. Sarah and Nolan drove to Indiana to check out a Cavapoo stud dog for their Rizzy. They liked what they saw and plan on using him for both Rizzy and Arietta.  The owner of the dog allowed them to bring him home with them. They hope to get both Rizzy and Arietta bred in the next week or 2. Hopefully we will have lots of puppies to play with in a couple months.
I can't end this Easter Day without a special song sung by Dolly Parton.
