Our walk was cancelled this morning as it was raining and tonight it is still raining but we actually had a nice afternoon. A little sun and warmth. IT is VERY muddy outside though. The horses were all checked, Anna, Lola, Marika and Galena's udders were all checked and Lola's looks the closest to delivery. I will be checking those every day and when they fill up hopefully will have a dry place to put the mare. Right now the paddocks are under water and the drives are soft with the melting frost line and so much rain. This is much better than what is happening right now out west. This was taken right from the weather channel:
Winter storm Ulmer hammered the Rockies and Plains on Wednesday packing up to 95 mph gusts, 2 feet of snow in areas with drifts more than 6 feet high. The National Guard has been asked to help more than 1000 stranded drivers on Colorado highways. Stretches of Interstates 80, 25, 76, and 70 were closed in parts of Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado. Denver International Airport shut down all runways. More than 1350 flights canceled.

Greg Giannini needed to get gas for his generator, because the lights were flickering at his home and he was afraid he was going to lose power. Even though he has four wheel drive, his car got stuck at the pumps and he was trying to dig out to get home as the blizzard swirled around him. He was stuck near North Gate Blvd. in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. (Jerilee Bennett/The Gazette via AP)
I guess we can't complain about the rain. The wind is starting to arrive with the rain as I type this. We just got home from church where we heard Grace Meister's testimony.
