We awoke to rain, lots of rain. No walk today, not only was it raining it is cold and windy. The most work outside was to walk up and check on the mares. Sangria's paddock was just thrown a square bale and so was the weanling paddock. Both of those were getting low but could easily get by until tomorrow when hopefully the weather will improve a little. The trailers were going to be unloaded but with the rain that can wait. Instead of working outside Evan and Shaeya's Sunday performance was uploaded and placed on Facebook. The music was started but the announcer forgot to start the script so Shaeya just went with it. Evan used the entire arena, just like mom wanted. On Saturday mom was disappointed that Evan didn't come down to where they were sitting, she wanted Shaeya to make him go all the way to the end. We think Evan must have known that. Check it out:
We were surprised there was anyone in the stands to watch as this was at 9:30 am on Sunday morning when EVERYONE including us were suppose to be in church. Well I guess it was ok for us and them to skip church for this special occasion.
After that was up and the laundry done, I drove in to Peoria, first to the bank to deposit checks, then to Meister's to pay bills, next stop was to TEMCO to pick up the Berean mail for tomorrow, from there to SAM'S for groceries and then to the Berean office to drop off the mail and finally to home. A pork roast was started for supper tonight and the Berean lunch tomorrow. Potatoes were peeled and a big pot of mashed potatoes were made again for supper and the Berean lunch. When the roast was done and the gravy was made, I rested. I still need to go through all of the pictures from Sunday but just couldn't get up the energy to do that. I'm TIRED!
