The deposit came today for Indy's filly by Evan, she will be traveling to California in October. The owners would like to wait until she is a bit older before that long haul.
Lily's colt by Valiant will be traveling to Iowa in August.
He got a refresher course on haltering and handling today.
Israel came for a visit today, he played over at Great Grandma's house, watched the birds feeding off the balcony, went on a long golf cart ride while the walkers walked and took a nice nap. He was so cute but I was so busy I didn't even think to bring the camera out. What kind of grandma am I. As soon as he was dropped off, the stalls were cleaned, water buckets filled and feed added then Sangria and Sheena were brought inside while Whisper was given their paddock for the night. I don't know when we have ever been so full that we have had to double up on paddocks. I felt like I was hauling hay most of the day, thankfully Israel enjoyed riding along on the golf cart while the hay was being hauled. As soon as Mark got home from work we moved a new round bale in the mare paddock next to Evan. There are 5 mares in that paddock and they are going through a round bale every 4 days. So thankful for our bumper crop last year.
Church tonight was such a blessing. To just sit, listen and worship. Craig Stickling had the service opening to Peter 4. Do we love each other enough to suffer for them, to want the best for them and take the short stick. We were reminded that love covers a multitude of sin. There was just so much in that chapter, I highly recommend reading it again and again and again.
