He is Risen INDEED!

What a glorious day. We tried to arrive early to the fellowship hall for sunrise service but it just seems to always take longer to get everything done when one is in a hurry. The fellowship hall was filling up quickly. We found a table near the front. I was glad we weren't any later, they ended up needing to set up tables up on the stage. Emily is showing off one of the decorations on our table.
Eva Jean made these, over 200 hundred of them and placed them on each table as a gift.
Joan's table had exactly one place left when we arrived and just guess who got to sit there?
Nancy was very happy to see Joan. Above Joan is giving Nancy her morning pills.
Below Faith is showing me her hair which she arranged all by herself. She is going to be another Bethany. Mike Rieker announced they fed 337 people.
After the breakfast everyone needed to get up so the tables could be taken down to make room for other guests. The program started when the congregation sang a couple songs then Dusti played the piano and sang Watch the Lamb. This song was sung so beautifully and with so much emotion one couldn't help but weep. The trio sang Then Came the Morning and the choir sang He's Alive! Ken Hoerr had the Resurrection service.
We were excused at 9:30 am so all could get to church on time for morning service. David Obgerfel had that service, another heart touching service. It was hard to leave church once everything was over. The kids and grandkids came over for Easter dinner. It was such a beautiful afternoon Ben took his family out on the canoe.

We decided to eat at the playground since the weather was so beautiful. Nancy enjoyed being outside.
After dinner we celebrated birthdays, below Addyson and Braelyn were waiting for the cake.

The next job was to hide the Easter eggs in the indoor arena. The hiders put glow sticks by each egg, the doors were shut and the lights turned off in the barn. The kids had a ball filling buckets with glow sticks and plastic eggs filled with candy.

After the lights were turned on they were pleased to check out their treasures. Below Jack and Taegan are checking out the inside of the plastic eggs.
Since we didn't have Rhoda here today to give pony rides to the grand children, Mark gave them all cart rides.

Grandpa got tired after a couple rounds. They hay is always fun to climb up and play on.
We made our way back outside when Nolan announced he recognized 'that horse.' Sure enough it was Eliza the horse he rode a couple days ago.
Below is Stephanie jumping on the tramp with Jack and Addyson while Israel walks around feeding the horses grass.

Lily's colt had just gotten a drink of water and a few drips were stuck to his whiskers. He poses so nice for pictures. Isn't he cute!
Prissy was tested tonight, she has waxing now pretty significent but was testing just above 200. More than likely the foal won't come tonight.
Everyone has now gone home and we will soon be climbing into our comfortable inviting bed.
