So Gentle So Kind

I was up at 4:30 am working on making a pot of coffee without much success when I checked out my phone to see a text from Rhoda that came during in the night saying, "there is a coffee maker up in the closet of my room exactly like yours," and I found it. Thank goodness for daughters! Mark helped move a bale in for Killian just as the day started to lighten up.
After the walk today I headed in to Meisters to work on the Berean stuff we weren't able to finish yesterday. That was kind of discouraging. There is just so much work to do. We could sure use more volunteers. The first job was to stuff the envelopes with the new studies to go out.
They were finally finished and above they are waiting to be sealed. Below I've finished sealing them with our special licker which had to be filled with water twice to be able to finish them all.
It is such a tedious job if anyone else would have shown up today this is one of the jobs they would have been doing. It takes no thought so the brain can be used for other things at the same time, like thinking, "how long is this going to take? What needs to be done at home? I wonder what the dogs are doing?" It actually is a good time to pray for each prisoner as their envelope with the next four studies are being sealed.
Fede showed up to pick up studies for the Lewistown jail where he and Ruth volunteer each week.
Next on my list to do was to start entering the Bible requests and this also took much longer than usual. By the time I finally finished and printed them off the line of labels stretched almost the length of the room. It was so impressive I had to get a couple pictures. These are all prisoners waiting for their Bible which will go out tomorrow.
In the picture above I'm looking toward the computer from the back of the room and in the picture below it is looking toward the back of the room from the computer. What is amazing is these are just the requests that came in since Thursday.
By the time I got home it was almost 4:00 pm. Mom's puppies will be leaving soon and I wanted to get a video of them playing together. They are so adorable. The video will be worked on later but below are a few pictures of these cute balls of fluff.

The rest of the puppy pictures will be placed on the Facebook page. Rhoda was at the barn giving riding lessons to Ella, Willow, Tate and Irelyn. I was trying to figure out which horse she would be using since we don't really have any kids horses here. When I got to the barn I found out she was using Killian! Killian is a 3 year old STALLION! He was perfectly behaved, exactly what Rhoda expected. Who would have thought we would be using a 3 year old for little kids and a stallion at that.

Not only were the kids able to walk and trot him in the arena, he also performed some of his tricks for them with them on his back.  Above and Below is Ella on Killian.

Above is Willow climbing on and below she is asking him for a bow.

Above Tate is asking for the bow and below Tate has asked Killian to step up onto the pedestal. He probably should have been groomed first but Rhoda didn't know I was going to take pictures and kids don't want to wait.
Ella and Irelyn had fun on Killian too finishing up with a bow.

Mark drove to church. Greg Rumbold had the service reading first in Isiah of the prophecy of the child to come and then in Matthew. It was good to be there.
