Anna was to bring the girls today, Rhoda was in Bloomington without a car and we were suppose to have someone come see Whitney at 10:00 am. Anna offered to drive to Bloomington, pick up Rhoda then bring the girls out but Rhoda decided to borrow Lee's car and just come. She arrived right after 10:00 am but the prospective customer had not yet arrived. Anna arrived with the girls at 10:30 am with the plan that she would stay until I was free. The people coming out were contacted about 10:20 by Facebook to ask if they were on the way but no answer, then at almost 11:00 am I again contacted them to ask if they were coming and did receive the message they were not. That was kind of an answer to the question if we should sell her or not. We have people interested in her foal by Valiant, plus she rides. Diane really did not want to sell her, so Whitney will be taken out to Middle Grove tomorrow.
She is a huge mare and that was actually one of the reasons we were considering selling her. She takes up too much room in the trailer if we want to take a lot of horses and she is not yet really suitable for a beginner so will probably not work for the trail rides. I guess if someone offered full price of $6000.00 we would sell her but any less we may as well keep her. Rhoda ended up helping Anna at the house for a few hours before heading back to Bloomington so it wasn't a totally wasted trip. The girls had fun today, they played nice together. We built forts that were decorated with Christmas lights, while Kensley was taking her 3 hour nap. Of course the dress-up clothes must come out when Braelyn is here.
Taegan enjoyed playing in the box.
Braelyn loaded up the truck and trailer and took her horse for a ride.
Darcy watched them playing just waiting for Taegan to finish with the box so she could tear it apart. She is sure getting gray. Darcy will be 10 years old in March.
The girls found a lady bug on the window sill
Braelyn had a new pet for a while until she put it down somewhere then lost it.
Phil and Anna stayed for dinner. We ordered Gils famous fried chicken dinners and brought it back to the house. It was an enjoyable evening.
