Funday Monday

We had an unusual bright light in the sky today. It has been so long since we had a full day of sunshine that most everyone around here got sunburned. Emily started working the stallions when I had to leave for work. By the time I arrived back Karin's Funday Monday was in full swing. They started with trail rides, graduated to vaulting, then over to Rachel's for Carbol. I showed up just in time to watch the canter mounts. Below is Jessica.

Bethany just seemed to fly up.

Bethany spent some time teaching Emily the correct way to mount.

Next was Hannah's turn, Bethany didn't need to assist but was there just in case. Check out her foot above Ribbon's back.

6 year old aunt Faith and her 7 year old niece Ava tried a couple of tricks.
Big smiles broke out when they nailed it.

At the lunch break Emily helped bring out Eliza and her colt for a few pictures.
We cannot stress enough how sweet and friendly this colt is. He is going to grow up amazing!
Karin had Emily, Sarah, Bethany and Hannah come help with raking and pulling weeds out of the arena.
This is a huge job but when it was finally done we were all pleased.
Emily is going to keep it raked while she is here. Mike came by after work and we loaded Hadassah, Solomon, Prissy, Holly and Lilypony up for the trip to Middle Grove. They were taken to the original 80 acres then Mike and Karin rounded up the herd from the new 200 acres and moved them all over. Mike brought Mytross home along with Cookie and Missy. Mytross is due June 24th and we want her here to deliver. Cookie and Missy are going to be used for Junior High Girls camp that starts this week. Our evening was spent at church. Peoria is having vacation Bible school all this week and the entire church is welcome. Tonight was a speaker from the Indianapolis church speaking on the be-attitudes. We were each given a magnet with them listed and for the entire month of June suppose to memorize them. Tonight was really good  we are all looking forward to tomorrow.
