We got word during lunch at church that Aunt Jean died. She has had a long illness and it wasn't unexpected but still when it actually happened, it shocks. Our prayers go out to Dawn, Mike, and Mary Ellen. Life is so short.
We were very blessed today in church, how thankful we are, we can sit under the living Word, then fellowship with our wonderful church family.
We took a slight detour on the way home, doing some Sunday driving on roads that we had never traveled. It was raining this morning and still spitting this afternoon and a good day to do some exploring.
Once home Sangria was pulled over to Raven and she went from in love to hates his guts within in 24 hours. Ribbon was still glad to have him come visit and was successfully covered. Then we went to work. The trailer needed to be cleaned out and hooked up to the truck for JoHanna's vet appointment tomorrow morning to have her blood drawn for the coggins test. Mike showed up to install the gate on the arena, then as long as we were working on gates the 14 foot gate between the boy's paddock was also installed. Mark put together our wood rack and that will be installed in the barn aisle. This winter we will be able to just open the back door and pick up dry wood for our wood burner.
