Another Update

A couple of very nice texts came in today from the man that bought Ayanna's 2016 colt by Evan he named Caspian. Caspian is now 3 years old and looks amazing. He wrote that Caspian is very tall.
The next text was a video clip of  trick training, at the end of the video is another Horsemeister horse. That is Capricho, who is out of Sheena by Valiant. He was born May 12th, 2016. They bought both colts and both have turned out fantastic.
We love updates and really appreciate when owners send them.
Mom came over this afternoon to do a little on-line shopping. I took her back on the golf cart stopping first at Joan's house to drop off some snacks.  Hannah borrowed a dress for one of her friends for the young group Christmas party. She tried it on then sent her friend the picture of how it looks of course I took one too. Diane found this dress at a garage sale and bought it for some of the Friesian performances.
Glad to see the dress getting used.
We had a beautiful 54 degree sunny day here today. It was hard to go back inside to work but one of the things I wanted to accomplish today was to get the Christmas gifts wrapped. That got done but it wasn't easy. I had all the gifts locked in one of the upstairs bedrooms but the lock was broken. I had to take the door knob off to get into the room. Mark is going to put a new door knob that locks with a key.
Mark and Mackenson worked on the drives again until dark filling pot holes with gravel. We are expecting a hard freeze next week and Mark really wanted to get this job done before that happens.
Phil came over this evening, he and Mark were working on a job plans. It is nice to see them working together.
Philip fixed the television while he was waiting for Mark to come in.  This evening we watched the news for the first time in a week. It was kind of nice not knowing what was going on in the world. Emma and I are having a lazy evening. Actually Emma spends most of her time now sleeping on her bed. She turned 10 years old in September.
She still goes on the walks each morning and thinks it is her job to bark at company but for sure she is slowing down. The life span of this breed (English Mastiff) is 8-10 years.
Sarah and Nolan have been busy getting into the Christmas spirit. They already have taken their girls to look at the Christmas lights.
