Indian Camp Pictures and Videos of the Last Day

The first video is of the red eared slider turtle that became a painted turtle before being set free.  The paint is non toxic and will wash right off in water. The video is of this turtle racing for the lake. This next video is just a little of the last day, the hunting party heading out, the splitting of wood to make the fire and boiling water in a paper cup on the fire. Below are a few pictures from Thursday, our last day of Indian camp.
Above they are getting their breakfast of wild boar sausage and mulberry pancakes with real maple syrup they boiled down and below they are enjoying the fruits of the labor.
Below they are boiling water in a paper cup over the campfire. Some thought it couldn't be done.

Above Taegan and Berlica are washing the dishes in the lake, below is a bird house they made out of a gourd and hung in their camp.

 Washing up

Above is Mercy's sand candle and below they are getting ready to head out on a hunting hike
Below they are heading out to go hunting for deer.
IF you would like to see the rest of Thursday's camp pictures click HERE.  Just for fun Rhonda pulled out pictures of one of our past Indian camps, WAY past, like 28 years ago.
