Saturday, always a good day to get stuff done and today we did. Lily was let out of the stall around 6:30 am, she was so excited to get out she forgot to wait for her colt and he got lost. When she realized it she had to swing around to find out where he went. Once they were both together all was well. After breakfast I got the kitchen and bathrooms in the barn done and ready for company then went home and I got the laundry done including the sheets for the week and gave the bedroom a spring cleaning all before 10:00 am as I was due at mom's by then. Mom had the eagles up on the television and we thought we might have seen a hole in one of the eggs. Jackie was also acting different. She kept opening her mouth and sticking her tongue out while moving around the nest.

Time Change
Mark was out grading the driveways.
Mom decided she wanted an uncrustable for her lunch and told me there were a few in the freezer. I searched for them but couldn't find any so was making her a peanut butter and jam sandwich when Diane arrived with 2 uncrustables. She was putting something in her freezer and saw them and had the thought mom might like one for her lunch. What perfect timing. I left then for home. Mark needed to get the front tire off the small Kubota tractor, find the leak and fix it and he did. It wasn't easy and he came back in tired. The barn booked for the 22nd of March and is also booked for the 23rd by another group. I called Anna to see if she and her girls would be able to flip it as us cleaners, Rhoda, Sarah and I, will be on our way to Gulf Shores. Thankfully she was fine with that. She found a rocking chair for the barn today. I'll see that tomorrow. I've been wanting one as we have had so many mom's with babies here lately. Phil and Anna were hosting a group at the barn this afternoon. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot by the time we were ready to leave for potluck.
Cheryl was hosting potluck and had the table set beautifully.
Each of us were given a carnation wrapped in the napkin.
What a great idea. Cheryl had 10 around the table. Melanie and Roger, Rose and Mike, Marilyn, Benj and Kristen, Mark and I and of course Cheryl. We all had a wonderful time. The food was good but the fellowship even better. It was 9:00 pm by the time we left there and with the time change happening tonight it is WAY past our bedtime.
