Help, Lots of Help
One of the best things about being from a big family is when there is work to be done. Last year Diane and Mom helped with Family outreach, this year they are both on a cruise. A little worried about getting everything done tonight I just mentioned it at choir and that's all it took. There was plenty of helpers tonight. Many many hands made for light work. Note to self, don't buy so many biscuits next year! We had just about the right amount of chicken, salad, green beans and dessert but WAY to many biscuits. I thought some of the kids might eat 2 each but most only took one and some took none. Out of the 175 baked I brought home over 50. Anyone want to stop in for biscuits and gravy?
Dee, Olympia's owner came this afternoon and once she finished working with Olympia she was good enough to groom up some of our horses. What a help that is, the more they are groomed before the fair the easier it will be to bathe them at the fair. Lily was tested again tonight, yesterdays reading was 125, today's was 150. She is making progress but hopefully will hold off until next week.
