Fun Times
Taegan slept most of the morning in my arms while Braelyn played. The camera was taken out and all shots were with one hand as the other was filled with precious cargo.
Below is Braelyn playing with Emma and Darcy. Braelyn would throw the ball, the dogs would look at it, then Braelyn would go get the ball and throw it again.
Those dogs would watch the ball intently but not get up off their beds.
Next Braelyn discovered the pocket doors and had to play hide and seek with them.
Anna arrived at the perfect time, Taegan had just decided she was hungry and needed her mom.
Karin and Rhoda arrived about the same time to train. The boys were first. While they were working them I was busy removing the hog pane from the middle paddock getting it ready for more hay. Tomorrow that paddock will need 2 bales and Lily's paddock will one bale.
Ayanna and Indy were hanging over the gate asking to come in next. Today Karin and Rhoda spent some time trick training them after the round pen. Rhoda finished up by riding them both bareback. Ayanna was first.
And Indy second. We were really pleased with how both acted.
Once those two were put away Zalena, Marika and Jenis were brought inside. All three were round penned, then Jenis and Zalena were asked to bow. Marika was just introduced to the start of the bow, asking her to pick up her leg and rock back. Rhoda wanted to see how Marika would do bareback with excellent results.
She is really sweet and wants to please but is so very green. Ayanna, Indy and Marika really need to be taken out on trails with a few of the experienced mares but they will have to wait for better weather.
Mark and I had plans to go to The Garage in East Peoria for worship which starts around 7:30pm so stopped at a Chinese restaurant for dinner first. The very first person I saw was Willow, Diane's grand daughter. She was there with her parents and uncle. Mark wanted to stop at Lowes to check on a furnace before heading to the Garage and ran into Molly and Gabe, Spark's daughter and her husband. We can't seem to go anywhere without running into family. Well Peoria anyway. Rhoda, Sarah, David and Stephanie had already arrived by the time we got there. It lasted later than us old folks are use to. We are so ready for bed.
