Mark and David took the kayaks out early this morning, the lagoon was flat calm. They paddled all the way to the Gulf but did not try facing the rolling waves to actually go into the Gulf. Once they were back the kids started leaving for the scheduled volley ball. Mark and I stayed back to do laundry, pack and cut vegetables. Mark and Sarah's plane was to take off at 4:30pm. I drove them to the Pensacola airport leaving at 2:30pm, arriving at 3:40pm just in time to check in and load. By 4:00pm they were on the plane. It took about 70 minutes to get home, the traffic was actually bad both directions and I pulled in just after 5:00pm, just in time to start dinner. Tonight chicken stir fry was on the menu with lots of wonderful vegetables. Carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, sugar snap pea pods, onions, celery, water chestnuts and mushrooms were all stir fried in the WOK and added to the chicken. David, Stephanie and Karin pulled out before 7:00pm for the long trip home. There are no pictures today, somehow when I was trying to download them they all disappeared. I even lost the recycle bin so that can't be checked. The one below is from yesterday. It just is such an action shot of David and Philip.
