Dinner with the Family
The wedding was beautiful both the message and the people. Rhoda and Sarah both had to work second shift at the reception so we decided to meet at the farm at 5:00pm for dinner. The Mark Sceggel family is getting just a bit too big to fit comfortably in this little office apartment and I am starting to look forward to the move into the farm house. We now have indoor plumbing there! Disclaimer, there was indoor plumbing it just needed a little updating! After dinner Rhoda brought out Ella for Addyson but we were so busy inside we weren't watching when Rhoda asked Ella to lay down and Addyson actually got dumped in the grass. She thought it was all in good fun.
A few pictures were snapped once dinner was over.
Below is Braelyn showing us how she knows how to pray.
Addyson and Rhoda cleaning up the newspaper that Addyson and Braelyn had so much fun taking out of the garbage.
Addyson and Braelyn playing on the rocking horse.
And Jack watching them.
Emma was locked outside, we were just too crowded inside to add 2 big dogs and Emma's tail is lethal. Both girls love playing with Darcy, she is so low key her tail doesn't act like a whip.
After the little ones left, Rhoda took both dogs over swimming as a treat for them, brought back 2 wet smelly dogs then took off herself. What's wrong with that picture!
The special coffee pot Amy gave us didn't produce hot coffee this morning, just cold water. The counter space is so crowded here when cooking a big meal the pot was unplugged and moved. When it was plugged back in before bed, it must have been set to brew at 5:00pm instead of 5:00am. We can't blame the pot, it was completely user error.
