Antigua & Tortola

Yesterday the boat was at Antigua and today Tortola. Yesterday the smells from the town were not good, Mike and Diane found a cheap way to get to the very beautiful beaches. The taxi's wanted $12.00 each but Diane found out Antigua has public transportation by walking a bit farther. She and Mike made it out to the beaches for $1.50 each, and the bus came by every 15 minutes. When it was time to head back a very wealthy couple from Canada stopped and picked them up taking them back to the boat. After dinner Tuesday night we went to the show which was a very talented juggler from Asia. He was also a comedian and had us roaring with laughter. We didn't know how last night's show could top it but it did with a magician act comedian and again not only were were roaring with laughter we were amazed at his skill.
Today we pulled in to the very beautiful British Virgin Isle of Tortola. It is clean and friendly. Mike rented a jeep as we were wanting to go over the mountains along with visiting remote beaches. We found a beautiful beach with no one on it at all and spent the afternoon swimming in the clear cool water then sunning ourselves on the white sands under a hot sun. It is just perfect here. On the way back to the ship we headed over the mountains for some gorgeous views. The roads are narrow and each time someone wants to pass they honk. We pulled over a few times for pictures which will be loaded later.
