Start the Car

Mom picked us up for church tonight and instead of driving our car we took hers, it has heated seats and was already warmed up. Craig Stickling had the service. He opened to Ezekiel 10 and it brought back so many memories of dad singing "Ezekiel saw the wheel a turning way up in the middle of the air. A wheel in a wheel a turning way up in the middle of the air." Anyway I remember thinking ok, maybe there really were aliens that visited the earth in Ezekiel's day. Read the chapter, the description is just like an alien space ship with windows around for eyes even the way they move is like a space ship. Yes, I'm probably nuts but I always loved reading science fiction.
The second opening was 1 Corinthians 9. Craig had so many insights on what it is to be an apostle. His insight on hypocrisy made us think. He finished up with verse 24, Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? so run, that ye may obtain. RUN ALL as in all of us run together, we need our church family we need each other to finish the race. Somehow we are not ready for the service to be done when Craig sits down.
After church Mark went out to start mom's car a few minutes before we came out. We walk out expecting a warm car and thought it was strange to see the car was not started with Mark nowhere near the car. Then we see the car lights start to flash off and on and look over into the next lane and see Mark pushing buttons on mom's key ring trying to unlock the wrong car. It really looked pretty funny, he was moving back, then leaning forward trying to figure out why the car would not unlock and the key wouldn't fit in the door. He had to laugh when he finally figured out we were standing by the right car.
