Early Morning at the Farm

Busy feeding when the sound of a 4 wheeler breaks the quietness of nickering horses waiting for their grain. Mike on the 4 wheeler comes barreling around the corner from the cabin field with Mika in tow and Bunni following behind at a gallop.

With the predicted rain to be here tomorrow, Mike wanted to clean up the pasture and move the round bale off the cabin and into the breeding shed for Izadora. She was no longer able to reach the little hay that was left on the large side.
Our talk on the walk was very lively and interesting. Leaving the farm just before 8:00am for home the sun is shining brightly on the fall trees and knowing the rain may knock all the pretty leaves off, the picture had to be snapped.

Lowes is to deliver 18 4x6x12 post for the 3 planned shelters and a pallet of 80 pound bags of cement between 10:00am and 2:00pm which means a trip back to the farm to make sure it is placed inside the arena. We really wanted 14 foot post but they didn't have any so we will just have to make due with the 12 footers.
