Misty

Ayanna and Violet were put outside this morning early while the weather was still cool. They were able to stay out for a few hours then put back inside until this evening. Tonight will be the first night they will stay out all night. Cool weather and no rain is predicted.
Emma was teased and showed, she was covered this morning by Evan, then Jenis was brought out and she is also in, she will be covered tomorrow by Evan. Can't use Valiant that is her son and Emma is related to Valiant also, Evan is getting all the work lately. Misty was pulled out and hosed off then put in a stall to dry. We have had over 5 inches of rain these last 5 days and her legs and feet were muddy.
Sharon arrived followed by a truck and trailer from Western Hearts Ranch and riding club to pick up Misty.
I don't' know whether to be insulted or not but she jumped right into the trailer acting like she couldn't wait to get out of here. Not really I think she just likes to go. Eliza was grazing near the fence this morning with her 'twins'.

Zalena's colt spends most of the day with Eliza and her filly but when he gets hungry he runs over to his mom for a drink. We think it is funny that Eliza ends up doing all the babysitting in that pasture. She is very patient with him, he crawls under her tail if the flies are biting.
Today was spent at home cleaning and getting the laundry done. It is also our 37th anniversary, Mark brought home lobster for dinner. Nice big lobster tails, what a luxury.
After supper mom drove over to invite us to watch Beth and Greg's family TV show called Lake Life. We don't have cable so she recorded it. Eva Jean and Glenna met mom at Gils Supper club for chicken then  watched the show afterwards. We actually missed it again, Mark was installing another outdoor light for our driveway and I was feeding and cleaning stalls.
