Jubilee Trail Ride

Phil dropped off the girls before the walk so they got to come along on the golf cart. Taegan was so excited about riding she was squealing. Today was the scheduled trail ride at Jubilee State Forest. Rhoda called and found out the trails were finally opened and there were 8 people wanting to ride. I really need another truck, we have 2 big trailers and only 1 truck so Karin had to take 2 trips to get all the horses delivered for the riders.
The first 4 horses were Killian, Ayanna, Anna and Indy. The riders for those 4 were Emily, Rhoda, Bethany and Jessica. Rhoda took Taegan with her and Bethany took Braelyn.

The second trailer load was Eliza, Larry, Sunny and Sandy. Those riders were Sarah, Rebekah, Karin and Anni. Below Sarah is getting ready to mount Eliza and join the group.

Above is Sarah on Eliza below is Anni on Sandy and Karin on Sunny
Rebekah got to ride her own horse Larry. Larry is a 30 year old registered Arabian she has had for years.
The sun was shining bright and the temperature in the upper 50's, I took Braelyn and Taegan to Jubilee so they could ride too. Rhoda took Taegan with her on Ayanna while Bethany took Braelyn with her on Anna.

The girls had a blast. They got to go on the trails and up and down hills.
Once all the horses were ready to head out for the big trail the girls had to get off but they found lots of other things to play with such as logs, stumps, sticks, rocks and puddles.

By lunch time we were ready to head home for something to eat and then a nap. They both went right to sleep at the same time giving me more than an hour to download the pictures from the ride. After the nap it was time to take the golf cart over to the play ground where they played on the trampoline, slide, sandbox and swings. We finished out the afternoon on mom's deck enjoying the sunshine and swing until Anna came to pick them up.
We had our Good Friday service tonight at church. Tim Roecker had the message on God's Wrath.
