Big Sally & Glory
Yesterday a family from Texas contacted us about Big Sally and Glory. This would be all good except last week another family that is currently out of the country and won't be back for 3 weeks had already expressed interest in putting down a deposit on them. It was not wise to accept their deposit, they didn't have a place to settle down once back in the country. The suggestion was made that they should wait and if anyone else was interested I would contact them.
Well Rachel gave me the CD of the pictures she took at Middle Grove and I emailed the pictures of Sally and Glory to the first family, not wanting a commitment, just wanting to share the pictures. After work there was an email from them of thanks and please keep pictures coming but right below their email was the email from the Texas family expressing interest in the mare and foal package. Of course once they were told about the first family, they said they understood and would let me know by last night if they were serious. After church the email came asking me to contact the first family to find out if they were going to commit.
The answer came this morning, the first family is willing to let them go to Texas.
The problem with all of this is if the Texas people don't end up taking the horses, it makes us look dishonest to the first family.
Today the horse trailer needs to be power washed out to prepare for the camping trip to the Herman Lake. My grand daughter is coming over and the house should be cleaned up. The shopping for camping meals should be done but I'm not sure how many of the family will be camping. And the hardest decision is what am I going to do with Darcy and Emma for the weekend. The Hermans do not want dogs for the weekend. We completely understand, just not sure how they can be cared for if we are all in Norris, IL.
