Lot's of Sunshine Lots of Fun

I had a busy morning, first covering Star with Valiant then feeding all the horses and of course playing with the foals.
Above are the next two mares due, Sheena is due May 13th and Eliza is due May 30th. Sheena went late and Eliza early last year so they will probably deliver pretty close to each other. Below is Soul with her 4 day old filly by Valiant.
Indy finds it just exhausting caring for her week old filly by Evan.

These 2 fillies are just 3 days apart.

I thought the leaf shadow pattern on Indy's back was interesting and speaking of leaves, our Japanese Maple tree is just beautiful when the sun shines on the leaves.
Phil and Anna dropped off the girls around noon so they could head over to Rhoda and Lee's house to replace their flooring. Ben joined them in this project.
That meant grandma got to play with the girls all day. We first had to go feed the horses and play with the foals.

then head over to the playground.

Jake had delivered the excavator for mom's landscape project and Tim was already hard at work tearing out the old rail road ties. We watched for a bit then had to go down to the lake to look for fish and frogs. From there we went to Diane's beach to make mud pies. To see the rest of the pictures from today click HERE.
Phil and Anna didn't get home until after 10:00 pm. Rhoda sent before and after pictures of their project of which they were able to finish completely. WELL DONE Phil, Anna, Ben, Lee and Rhoda. This was quite an improvement. They removed the carpet and replaced it with beautiful wood floors.
Above is before and below after
above is before and below after (of course this didn't need to be stated)
