Rhoda and Iris were here when we got back to the farm. We had a few minutes to visit until our next guests arrived, Julie Herman brought her children out. Today just happens to be her baby boy's 1st birthday and his 3 big sisters thought they ought to celebrate by riding horses. Of course Rhoda and Julie had to compare the difference a year makes in a baby.
Karin took them first to the round pen.
They did so well Karin tacked up Sangria too and took them on the trails.
Below Emma is riding Cookie.
Livy got to ride Sangria on this trail ride.
Julie, Boone and Mercy rode on the golf cart with me.
Below is the first creek crossing.
When they got back Karin gave Emma and Livy a vaulting lesson on the new barrel. I went over to Phil and Anna's house where ALL 11 grand children were playing. Anna has lots of room and lots of toys. Braelyn had the music going in her room and they were having a dance party.
Elisabet was having a ball playing with the toy stroller.
Abe joined her and the 2 were pushing the stroller together.
That pushing is hard work. Elisabet carried a chair over and sat down to rest.
Abe was put to work pushing Zion in the stroller
Baby Iris woke up so we had to take turns holding her. It won't be long before she joins in all the fun. These babies grow up so fast.
That toy stroller was popular both with riding and giving rides.
Zion at 9 months of age can balance standing and it won't be long before she starts taking steps.
She was put to work giving Abe rides and didn't think that was quite fair.
Kensley found a fun box to play with.
Many more pictures were taken but the internet stopped working around 9:40 pm. I used the phone to hit save and publish but found out this morning that didn't happen.
