Roxanne Has a COLT
I am just so very thankful for the new foaling cameras. I woke up at 3:30 am checked the cameras and there was Roxanne having her foal. The colt was born quickly without any problems. He stood fairly quickly and I could have just watched on the camera but instead dressed and took the golf cart up to the barn, cleaned up the mess, cleaned Indy's stall, refilled the water buckets and made sure the colt was rooting in the right area. Roxanne is being a good mother, squealing when he bumps her udder but standing still. Better pictures will be taken later.
I'm heading back to bed to sleep for hopefully another hour.
