No Power No Cooking

Well somehow when Mark was working on the outdoor lighting we lost  power to the kitchen AND the stove. Too bad, there will be no cooking until that gets fixed. I just feel terrible about that. Thankfully we still have power to the coffee maker.
A very nice email came in from Melody. Melody bought Sally's very first foal, a filly born on the 4th of July we named Liberty. Below is what she writes:
Hey Judy I thought you would enjoy new pics of Liberty.  She is a very calm trail horse and so loving...as you can see she is a BIG GIRL...16.3  Thank you for my sweet Liberty...Melody Miller

Isn't she beautiful. Thanks so much Melody for the pictures. Sally's colt this year will be just as gorgeous. Who ever buys him will be so pleased. Below he is pictured right after birth.
Funny how something this small can grow to 16.3!
We have a busy day planned today. The Esther House ladies are coming around 10:00am for horseback riding and a picnic. At 12:30pm a lady is coming to look at Eliza and Valiant. She would like to purchase Eliza's next year foal. We don't sell in-utero any more but I will put her on the list. She can have first option next year.
UPDATE When Mark heard the stove and oven didn't work he was determined to find the problem and soon fixed the power to the kitchen. Hmmm wonder what that says about Mark? He wasn't willing to work on the power problem when he thought it was just the kitchen lights.
Diane sent the picture below, they are camping at Middle Grove. She and her grand daughter Willow took the 4 wheeler and found the horses. Lola's colt was quick to come up for some attention.
