Icy
Last night sleet and rain started to fall then the temperatures plummeted from the 40s into the 20s. This morning going out to feed everything is under a sheet of ice. Spark was the first one on the long driveway heading to the jail and he was crawling along hoping not to slip into a ditch.
Yesterday we were discussing which horse Emily should take for training, Ayanna was suggested as Emily was the one that trained Ciera, Ayanna's full sister to drive but Rhoda had already asked on Thursday if she could have her as a project. Emily is willing to take Killian instead, leaving Indy for Karin. This will be the first time Emily has had a stallion at her place.
Mark helped move a new round bale in for the boys along with a new feeder. We can use one more round bale feeder for the middle paddock. Ribbon has destroyed more sections than any other horse. It must be something to do with draft horses. She isn't about to let a little metal stop her from getting to the choicest morsels of hay.
