Indy at 17 Months

Mom had her creepy snow kids out this morning. I see why Karin was spooked at 3:00am. Why these kids faces are almost expressionless. What's with that weird fake painted on smile?

A trip down to the warehouse was taken after the walk to return the walker with small wheels and hopefully find one with big wheels...bingo! Dan came in and helped put one together that will work perfect. As long as we were all at Meisters and hungry we decided to head to Denny's for lunch. Of course the first words out of our waitress' mouth was, "what are you doing here, it is not Tuesday?"
This afternoon the weather is nice, above freezing and the sun peeking out every once and a while. Steven Marchal was at the farm watering the arena when I drove up and was willing to bring Indy out for pictures. Below are just a few, the rest were placed on her page on the website.

Once she was put away, he took both boys out for a trick training session.

They lead out of the small gate very well, except today Evan thought just maybe there was a new mare over in the middle paddock. Steven doesn't allow that, and off they go at a trot into the indoor.

He reported when he was done they both did excellent. Each day they respond quicker to what is asked and will end up quite the performers. If anyone nearby is hosting a fund raiser or show, let us know we would love to bring the boys and show them off. It would be really good for them to be exposed to lots of different situations.

  1. Really, such beautiful horses! If you do a fundraiser, try to video tape it as I love seeing them in action.
