We got word that Catherine's mare Gem had a beautiful colt this morning by Evan. He is pictured within an hour of his birth. He is beautiful Catherine, Congratulations!
Diane and I both left for work early hoping to surprise Eva Jean. We have a new office UPSTAIRS! We are no longer stuck in the warehouse. Our office has windows and today the sun was shining so brightly it warmed up the office so much so we took off our coats and then our sweat shirts. WOW even our feet were warm.
We worked until noon, ran to Denny's to lunch then Diane went back to work while I went home to care for the puppies walking in the door and finding 1 puppy out of the box. That puppy was put back in, his mess cleaned up and all the puppies fed then back down to work to help Diane finish. We finally pulled out at 3:00pm and this time when I arrived I found 3 piles of puppy poop but no puppies out. So which pup or pups are getting out and then getting back in the box?
Karin arrived to help start loading the trailer and had almost all the bedding loaded before Rhoda and Emily showed up to help. We couldn't believe how much equipment and stuff the trailer holds.
Rhoda and Sarah came over to help with the puppy shots. It is so wonderful having a vet tech in the family. Rhoda would give the shot, Sarah would put the puppy that had the shot in the tub and get another out of the box while I would mark them down in the file.
Ruth picked us up for choir, she served the lunch so didn't sing tonight just listened and reported it was beautiful. When we got home from choir we found evidence that a puppy had escaped again but again all 9 puppies were back in the box. I wonder which one is the escape artist?
