Karin, Mom, Emily, Allison and Sarah joined Mark and me for breakfast. A big platter of pancakes, a pound of bacon and almost 2 dozen of scrambled eggs were served along with orange juice and piping hot coffee. There were pancakes and eggs left which was a good thing, it was used a bit later in the day. Right after breakfast Sarah and I drove to Sam's Club to buy the ingredients for Thanksgiving dinner. Sam's club had fresh turkeys on sale for 99 cents a pound. They were out of the really big ones so we bought 2, each a bit more than 18 pounds. Joan is also cooking a turkey and so is Diane. There are only around 45 coming for dinner, it is the small year and may be the small year from now on since the Old School Center burned down.
Philip arrived with a couple of hungry girls. He and Anna were working on the house today.
The girls had fun playing together while grandma snuggled up with baby Kensley.
Braelyn was rocking then Taegan wanted to give her dolly a ride on the rocking horse so Braelyn found some other horses to play with. They are growing up so quickly and I love the way they are playing together
Amy Koch called to report a leaking hydrant at Bridlewood. David Sauder is who I usually hire but he is leaving for Gulf Shores and won't be home until after Thanksgiving. Mark and I are going to stop by Bridlewood tomorrow morning before church to see if it is an easy repair.
