RAIN!!!!!

We were at the meeting point when the boys came running over to play. Ebby ran in with them thinking she was going to chase them and instead they look at her like, "really, we should stop our play and run from you?"
We started on our walk with a threatening Western sky and got almost one loop before jumping on the golf cart and driving as fast as possible. By the time I made it back to the barn the rain had started in earnest. The picture below was taken out the stall barn door:
The rain was coming down in sheets with the sky becoming black and then suddenly a huge racket started up from the roof, hail, nickle and dime size hail started pounding down.
We haven't had a downpour like this for months! Notice the difference in the 2 photos above, they were taken just seconds apart. I had to back up quickly, the hail was hitting hard! Our electricity started fluctuating off and on. We need it to stay on, Fede has a work crew at the farm house. The picture below was taken by Rachel Sauder as she was sitting on her deck. Thanks Rachel for sharing. She titled it: I'll Praise You In the Storm
I heading in to Peoria to buy a food permit for the Heritage Days in Hanna City. Yes, one must have a food permit to sell cotton candy.
