We overslept, well I woke up around 4:00 am, checked my watch and went right back to sleep while waiting for the coffee maker to go off and didn't wake up until after 6:00 am. That made the morning fly and I was almost last leaving for the Berean office at 8:00 am. I needed to stop at Sam's on the way in for coffee. We only had a little left and sure don't want to run out. The stop at Sam's club was only about 10 minutes but the bill was almost $100.00. I needed to buy more paper plates, plastic cups and paper towels too. I was going to buy carrots but the price jumped from $2.79 to over $5.00. I'll just pick some up from Aldi next time I go there. The Berean office was really busy this morning. Lots of mail and lots of laughter as that was being opened.

Windy and COLD
The tables were full of mail that needed to be processed.
Skip needed to order mailers as we only had enough for today. We also went through almost all of the Bibles we had on hand. We had 72 in the office and had 54 Bible requests.
Kathy made the dessert for today and that was delicious. It was a cherry dessert but had some pineapple in it, plus pecans and cake mix crumble on top. Every bite was a delight to the taste buds. We didn't get a chance to taste it until after noon as we had so much work today.
The room was full of laughter as they worked together until I walked in with the camera rolling then it went silent as they worked. I should have videoed their work from the other room.
It was almost 12:30 pm when I left the office and drove straight to Meisters to drop off some Bible studies for Amanda to give to her mom for grading. There were 2 more boxes of Bibles there that had been delivered after I picked the other 72 up. I couldn't load them as my car was already full so drove to the Bartonville post office to drop off the 54 Bibles going out today along with well over a hundred studies being mailed out then drove back to Meisters to pick up those last 2 boxes of Bibles. From there I drove into Hanna City to get some cash out of the money center. Our neighbor Bill has eggs for sale but I didn't have any cash in the house to buy them. When I got home I needed to get the liver out of mom's fridge and feed the cats.
That was supposed to have been done before they left. When I finally got home Anna was at the apartment finishing up the cleaning. Mark asked for help. He had been dumpster diving this morning and found a large camper cover. He wanted to cover the wagon we use for hauling logs. With the wind it really took the both of us and even then the cover got blown around a lot.
WE got it all tucked in and then strapped it down.
The wind was something fierce today so hopefully it will survive the night. We left at 4:30 pm for the Farmington High School where we got to see one of Joan's grand daughters, one of Beth's grand daughters
and one of our grand daughters.
Braelyn is a freshman on the Freshman Sophomore team while Aubrey and Wren are on the Varsity team. We only watched Braelyn's 2 games. They were both pretty much blowouts. Braelyn has such an awesome serve that after the first round of her serves she was taken out so the second string girls could play. Below is a video of just some of the first game.
Even after removing Braelyn they won the game 25 to 9.
We got home just before 6:00 pm. I made a salad and a hot ham and cheese out of a grilled flour tortilla for our supper.
The wind is still slamming into the house and it is COLD. Mark turned the furnace on instead of building a fire in the wood burner. I think he just doesn't want to use up the wood so quickly so early in the season. Down in Gulf Shores there were some beach bums hanging around on the beach. Wait those are not bums they are family! They are having a wonderful time. Mom and Aunt Jinnie enjoy the warmth of the sunshine while watching Joan fish.
