Mark's phone went off at 4:15 am, I thought it must be my phone and Sarah was calling me to tell me grandma wanted to get up but after grabbing my phone realized it wasn't. I tried to go back to bed for finally just got up and started the coffee early. At 5:00 am though mom was ready to get up so that is when I went over. I was back to our house at 6:00 am and did not go back to mom's until Sarah needed to leave for work at 8:00 am. While I was gone Mark took the old license plates off my car, put the new one on the back then couldn't find the new one for the front. I spent most of the morning grading Bible studies and once they were all graded wanted to run them to the post office before they closed but when I got here there was no front license plate. Mark was sure I wouldn't get stopped so took the car into town anyway to drop the studies off at the post office.

Baby Eden
Diane arrived while I was gone so I went back to my house until after lunch. Mark put the old license plate back on and that will stay there until we find the new one which has to be somewhere around here. We searched today AGAIN on IL tolls. We know when Hannah and Jacob took the truck and camper they went through some tolls but nothing has been showing up on the truck. We tried to add the camper license plates thinking the toll might be on that but there was no way to add those. I'll have to see if I can call someone to ask how as the website would not give us that option. Dan, Susan, Abram and Addie arrived with 13 day old Eden Joy Meister. Mom was pleased to meet her new great grand daughter.
We had to take a 4 generation picture.
Of course we needed the guys to join in.
Sarah arrived from work with decorations. She promptly went to work decorating the front porch.
She and Berlica took the pumpkins outside to carve.
Mike and Diane officially closed their office. We are not sure who is happier to be retired Diane or Mike but Mike was sure smiling about that sign.
A VERY nice update came in from Jennifer. She bought Madiera's filly by Valiant 3 years ago and sent the message and the picture below taken today. Kate & Zena had a nice ride this afternoon and then Kate got curious and the idea to try riding bareback. All went great.
So pleased for the update. Kate and Zena have a wonderful partnership.
This evening back at mom's I took pictures of the cool jack-o-lanterns Sarah and Berlica carved out of those pumpkins.
