I had an amazing thing happen around 2:00 am. My right leg started cramping terribly. I hobbled over to the fridge, squirted some mustard into my mouth and even before I swallowed the cramp disappeared. It really was like magic and I call it my Monday Miracle. A few months ago at the Berean office Marvin was telling us that Gale keeps some mustard packages by her bed just for that reason. I didn't really believe it would work but it DOES! I'm going to have to do the same. Now to figure out where to get some. It was raining as we were walking over to mom's today. The campers tents were all wet. The kids were up and already in the barn ready for breakfast. David brought two breakfast casseroles to feed them. Diane, Ruth and Joan walked while I stayed with mom. My left Achilles tendon has been really sore now for a couple weeks and just maybe I should take a break from walking so much. While at mom's the mama cat brought a chipmunk in for her kittens to devour. Of course they needed to play with it first.
My annual dentist appointment for the clean and check was at 10:00 am today. I left the house at 9:30 am going first to Dr. Stoller in Pekin from there to Meisters to pick up Bibles. I thought Skip ordered 100 of them but there were only 72 waiting. Amanda helped load them into the car. They were taken to the Berean office. Lukie has been busy decorating for fall.

The plants by the door are beautiful.
Of course after unloading the boxes I had to check out what Skip ordered.
On the way home I stopped at Phil and Anna's house to check out the new brickwork they are putting up.
It is actually stone and looks really nice.
The next stop was to drive the car to the back of Mark's workshop to drop off the 3 boxes of floor tile that had been put in my car then over to Diane's. She has cleaned out their office and wanted to give away anything to that can be used at the Berean office. Below I've filled the back of my car with supplies.
She took me downstairs to 'shop' for more.
There were a few things we could use. She is going to see if Joan could use any for Co-op. Mark had the mattresses moved into the barn then he and Mackenson carried them all upstairs. Each of those needed to be unboxed, then covered with the mattress protector, then a fitted sheet put on before getting them on the bunk beds. That took most of the afternoon but look and feel great.

We will still be purchasing televisions for each of the bedrooms but those can wait. At least the rooms are useable and comfortable.
At 5:30 I drove the golf cart over to mom's house and really confused Joan who happened to be working on dinner. She thought her clock was wrong. I was supposed to show up at 6:30 pm. I went back home and made Mark supper. When I went back at 6:30 pm those kittens were sitting so cute on the cat toy.
Two of the 5 are spoken for so if you want one you need to let Joan know pretty quickly.
The kittens are litter trained, their mama is the best mouser and is already training them to hunt. Mom and I had a quiet evening. Aunt Jinnie called and they talked about what they need to pack for their trip to Gulf Shores Saturday.
The picture below is Soul's colt by Evan we named Gideon. He is now called Thor and is doing wonderful for his owner. He lays down on command and does all kinds of other tricks. He was also chosen to participate in some very famous clinics.
