Someday

Sarah didn't text me until 6:15 this morning. Mom slept in a bit today. I had to do some shopping at mom's this morning. For our dinner tonight I still needed spaghetti noodles and found a box in mom's lazy Susan. I took a picture of it so I don't forget to replace it.

I'll replace that tomorrow when I drive into town to pick up the Berean mail. We left at 9:00 am for church with Sarah taking Mackenson and Berlica while I brought mom and Mark. We made it easily by 9:30 am. Kathy and Randy brought Nancy. As Joan is gone this weekend Anni was the teacher of the 3 year old class and gladly took Nancy to Sunday school. Amy and Ken spent the day in Peoria. Craig Stickling had the morning message. He sure brings the scripture alive. Click HERE if you would like to watch that message. Crystal & Jay along with Kathleen served lunch today and they went all out, with delicious sandwiches and lots of goodies to go with them. Gregg Rumbold had the afternoon message continuing the study of the minor prophets. Today he spoke on Haggai, If you would like to watch that message click HERE.  We found out from Marvin that Spark took Rhonda to the hospital this morning. That shocked us all as they were supposed to be flying out to Arizona. It was a bit later that Rhonda let us know she was feeling better and they had left the hospital, drove to the airport and flew to Arizona. They will be visiting one of Rhonda's many cousins then picking up Marvin and Gale in a couple days to continue their trip with them out West. After church was over we had Hannah look at the 2 wounds on mom from where the doctors took the melanoma off. The leg wound is not healing as well as the arm and we were a little concerned. Hannah also was a little concerned and told us she would bring a different type of wound dressing tonight at hymn sing. After that we took mom and Nancy to mom's house. Joan was there, Nancy saw her car and was SO excited she could hardly wait to get out of the van to greet Joan.  Amy and Ken came to the barn to change and relax before the hymn sing. The guests left the barn in decent shape. I'll need to do a lot of laundry tomorrow as all of the beds were used and I think 4 of the bathrooms. For supper tonight I served spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, rolls, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, with cake and ice cream for dessert for supper tonight. Rhoda and Lee's family came, Sarah and Nolan's family came and Rebekah and Brian's family came. Mark and I left after supper to make it to the hymn sing at 5:30 pm. That was very well attended and the singing was just beautiful! I took a video of just 2 of the many selections.

Someday soon we will be singing praises around the THRONE and won't have to quit in an hour and our voices will never give out. Sometimes I can't WAIT for that day. What a day that will be when our Jesus we will see. Now I'm sure your mind is humming the rest of that song too.
