I was over at the barn before 6:30 am and started with the gym. That needed organizing and a good floor cleaning. I also sprayed for spiders today as I found quite a few webs in the corners. Anna arrived while we were walking and starting installing the towel racks for the bathrooms.
Each rack holds 5 bath towels, a shelf for hand towels and washcloths and another shelf for soap, shampoo and conditioner. After the walk and after breakfast I went back over. The new 3 bedrooms were made ready for company. Phil arrived and went right to work with Anna finishing the windows and the rest of the trim. They worked pretty much all morning and most of the afternoon.
Bedroom 1 is pictured above and bedroom 2 is pictured below.
Bedroom 3 is on the other side of the stairs.
Bedroom 2 and 3 each have their own attached bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has the bathroom right across the hall so that bathroom can be shared with the game room if needed. Tomorrow we have the guests moving in so I went home to tell them they now HAVE bedrooms with doors, lights and working bathrooms. Late afternoon I had went back to try to finish the cleaning. I left my phone on a table and decided to clean out the closet that we store the 3 extra round tables the freezer is also in that closet as is a high chair and a large bag of volleyballs. I thought I saw a cricket go behind the round tables and thought I could pull them a little away from the wall when all 3 started falling. I went backward to push against them and tripped on the bag of volleyballs and went down with those 3 tables landing on top. I was able to get up but could not get to the door which had slammed shut with the 3rd table wedged up against it. The second table was under the 3rd and the 1st table was under both of those but still on top of me. That first table had to be slid up under them first then very carefully rolled up against the freezer. Once that one was out of the way there was a little extra room to get the 2nd table upright but not enough room in the closet to put it anywhere as it was between the freezer and table 3 which was taking up all the floor room and wedged still against the door. I still don't know how but the second table was balanced with one hand while the 3rd table was picked up with the other hand. All I know is it took every bit of strength I had. I was pretty desperate to get out, no one knew I was locked in a closet and I was supposed to pick up Kensley in about a half an hour. No permanent damage was done to the closet, just blood to clean up off the walls, floor, freezer and tables. After cleaning that up and myself I still made it in plenty of time to pick up Kensley, drop her off then pick up Mark and get to the fellowship hall for family night. The meal was great and the turn out for this evening was huge. Duane, Debbie, Diane and Tim were the hosts and served a delicious meal, served outside on the picnic tables, but ran out of plates and buns for the bbq.
David called us inside for the start. Tonight the message was on Every Tribe and Every Nation.
