Loaves and Fishes
After a wonderful time with our church family we headed home to spend the rest of the day with our earthly family. Stephanie decided to celebrate David's 34th birthday today even though it is really the 18th. We planned a steak dinner, serving at mom's as the apartment is too small to hold us. We started with 12 around the table and it just kept growing and growing, Dan's family came, Karin & Diane made it back from the Aaron Shock fund raiser and joined us. Tara & Jay with their 3 girls joined us, the Sauders crowded in and by the time the party was over mom's house was packed. What was amazing is the food didn't give out, somehow it stretched and stretched almost like the loaves and fishes.
The evening was perfect for the usual volley ball games which were very competitive, each game seemed to go into overtime. Which means the sides were pretty well matched.
While the big kids were playing on the court the little ones were playing on the equipment.
Karin took a break to help get Paris covered by Evan. She reported Paris and Ella were perfect at the fund raiser, giving around 40 kids rides. Steven Marchal sent through a text that Valiant was just about perfect under saddle today, light in the bridle and forward. It is always thrilling to hear how the boys are doing if we are not around to actually see it.
The volley ball games were so good the players turned the lights on and played on and on into the dark.
