Busy Busy Tuesday
No walk today, we woke up to rain, a nice soft gentle rain that really didn't amount to much but enough to keep us inside. No walk made it easy to get to work early, early enough to start the copier, sweep the floor and empty the garbage before Eva Jean arrived. Thousands of copies were made while the mail was being opened then Eva Jean got hundreds of Bibles labeled and stamped for mailing while I entered the studies. We had our little car so stuffed with full boxes of Bibles the tires were almost flat. The post office was visited before we headed to Denny's for lunch.
After lunch the truck and trailer were hooked up for the trip out to Middle Grove. Cor is now out of season so she, Clair and Prissy were taken out to that horse paradise while Indy, Ciera and Killian were brought back. We brought the very important fly spray out to spray down all the horses. The flies right now are terrible.
Below is Steven walking down to the cottage where the horses were all lounging around by the creek.
Below is blind Helen, looking almost grown up now that she is 6 months old, what a gorgeous girl:
The horses followed us up to the trailer where the 3 where loaded and a few pictures taken before we headed back. Below is Mika, Lily and Helen watching us load.
The herd migrated down by the lake.
Ribbon saw them heading down and took off like an elephant.
Lola was so glad to see Prissy, she came running up to meet her.
Then off they went galloping down to the rest of the herd.
We got back to find Karin working Holly. Steven put a new round bale in the cabin field and the 4 mares with foals were moved over there. Bunni, Sally, and Holly all joined Bonnie pony in the middle paddock while Indy, Ciera and Killian were given Raven's paddock. Karin took out Ciera for some round pen reasoning then Indy. Poor Indy was so distracted it took a long time for her to join up. We will have to see how she does tomorrow. We need to leave for choir in a few minutes.
