Diamonds on the Grass
When the door was opened to let the dogs out early this morning there is one of the foals standing by the apartment door. Sangria's colt was politely asking to be let back in with his mom. More than likely he was laying in the hay too close to the fenceline and rolled under it. The clogs were slipped on and out I went into the COLD. There is crunchy sparkling frost all over the grass. I couldn't help but look over into Raven's paddock, just in case yesterday was a bad dream but he really is gone. Funny how that horse wormed his way into my heart. Jenis and Sangria were the last 2 mares bred to Raven. We are praying they settled. Today is going to be a Berean day to try to catch up with all the work that has been put off.
