Emma's Scared
Something came prowling around the apartment during the night and scared Emma just about out of her wits. After one bark and a yelp she came cowering into the bedroom. Big brave Darcy wanted out, the door is opened and she stands in the doorway using her deep growling angry voice. What ever had been there left as soon as she stepped outside. This was all happening at 3:15am. Darcy was so proud of herself she had to trot around the place barking to let everyone in the area know how brave she is. The heavens were gorgeous with a slice of moon hanging low in the Eastern sky with a plethora of twinkling stars dotting the darkness.
Of course by the time we settled back down the hours flew by and I over slept not waking until 7:00am. Jumped on the golf cart to start the morning feed, drove to the breeding shed where the grain is kept, loaded the bucket, climbed back on the golf cart and went nowhere! The golf cart died. Diane was sent a text to bring her's over for mom to use during the walk. After the walk, the wires were checked but none seem to be loose. I'll have to leave it and let Mark check it out. Jenis is still in and covered by Raven. Jewel is now out, we will start the count on her ultrasound, once she and Sangria are confirmed in foal they will both be sent out to Middle Grove to raise their foals on that lush grassland with a herd that teaches manners to the young.
Today the mowing and laundry both need to be done.
