Skid Steer is RUNNING!

I left for the Berean office right after the walk. Today an answer to prayer arrived at that office. Cindy came! She is willing to help enter the Bibles onto the computer.
We finished the last label just before 2:00 pm. The printer was printing them off when we both left. I needed to be home by 2:30 pm as the repair man for the skid steer was due to arrive at 2:30pm and he beat me to the barn.
This was such a big job, turned out the starter was bad but to replace that wasn't easy. It is now fixed and ready to run.
Emily had a visitor today after school, Mikayla came over so the two of them went riding taking Anna and Indy. Anna was still in and covered by Valiant but didn't stand as well as usual so will probably be out tomorrow.
We needed to get some pictures of the last two foals for the registration papers. Below is Zalena's filly by Valiant at 3 days old.

Next was Lola's filly by (hopefully) Killian. She was born 6 days ago.

The next mares due are Soul May 6th, Indy May 10th and Sheena May 13th. I took the golf cart over to the cabin to check udders and snapped a few pictures of the mares there.

Above is Sheena and below is Soul neither of them are bagged up so we have some time.

When I got back Emily had Valiant out and was working him in the outdoor arena.

While there  Emily and worked on leveling the stall. The mats needed to be pulled up and the floor scraped under them.
Mark drove to church tonight, Tim Roecker had the service. It was good to be there.
Mom called, they are on their way back from Washington DC to New Jersey. They had a great time today visiting FDR Memorial, Arlington cemetery, and the Space and Flight museum. They will have a day off tomorrow then head in to New York city for Friday.
When we got home from church there were horses loose in the yard waiting for us to put them away. I wouldn't have known except the flash light caused eye shine of 6 pairs of eyes glimmering in the blackness. 3 up high and 3 down low gave me a good idea the mares and foals were out. The black of the horse blends in well on this dark night.
