We just came back from our Wednesday night church service and the songs are still running through our heads on the drive back. Mom started the conversation by saying the Hallelujah Chorus is going round and round in her mind. Mark shared that Mary's Song Breath of Heaven was ringing through his mind and in my mind Peace Peace keeps playing over and over. It was such a blessing to be there tonight.
Braelyn and Taegan came today to play with grandma. We had so much fun wrapping presents together and decorating them with bright bows and sparkling ribbons that this grandma forgot to get the camera out.
Rhoda and Emily loaded up Hadassah and Killian for a trip to Sandridge. This was Hadassah's 4th or 5th ride ever. They sent a few pictures through along with these words, "the ride was great!"
We are tickled pink about how well Hadassah is doing. We have her for sale but may decide to keep her. She produces gorgeous 75% Friesian foals and now rides!
When Rhoda and Emily came back from the trail ride they reported they got stuck 3 times even with the 4 wheel drive on. The truck really needs snow tires but that is an expense I haven't budgeted for so those will have to wait. Rhoda stayed inside to watch the girls while Emily and I moved a new round bale in Valiant's paddock. Emily left this afternoon for home. Her family will be traveling to Ohio to be with family for Christmas and after Christmas she will be traveling to Mexico on a work team.
Karin called to report she went out yesterday to work horses out at Middle Grove and they all did great. The horses picked up right where she left off last month. She is very encouraged with their training. She also checked on Sissy and Star for us. Sissy is due in a month and will need to be brought back here soon.
