It was a cold one today, currently at 9:30 pm it is 3 degrees. Israel came to visit today. He is 6 months old and full of joy. He was a happy boy today. Below it looks like he is busy talking to Darcy.
The dogs did a good job keeping him warm. Rhoda arrived so of course we needed a few pictures with her.
Emily was out in the cold working horses today, we don't know how she could stand it. She was giving Rosalie a leading lesson in the pictures below.
Rosalie is almost 10 months old and doing very well with her handling lessons.Emily also rode Hadassah today and Killian. Rhoda worked Evan and when she was done she decided to put a tail bag on him. Rosalie will be heading out to Middle Grove soon. Once the weanlings are leading, tying, loading and allow us to pick up all 4 hooves without a problem they are taken back to to the herd.
Mike drove out early this morning to check on the herd and found they had pulled the plug to the automatic waterer. It is all lake water so it wouldn't run out but sure left a mess. He plugged it back up and put a rock over the plug. He needs to replace that with a flat piece of iron so it doesn't happen again. He snapped the 2 pictures below.
He said the horses all look fat and happy out there. He is putting out 3 bales at a time in the round bale feeders but the horses are still grazing some during the day.
Craig Stickling had the service tonight at church. Something weird happened during the service. My phone started ringing. I know I had turned it to vibrate in the car, Emily saw me do it, but this was louder than normal. I grabbed the phone and desperately started swiping the screen to get it to stop then again moved it to vibrate. This time mom and Ruth saw me do it. About 3 minutes later it started ringing AGAIN! This time it wasn't so noticeable as it was during the first song. I tried to just turn off the phone but it wouldn't turn off so ended up completely taking it apart and pulling the battery out of it. The lesson tonight was on how God wants to provide, is ready to provide exactly what we need for the day and sometimes we are too busy to sit down, read His Word and Listen.
