I went out early to check on Sheena and she had already delivered her big strong beautiful all black filly. The sire of this filly is Evan. As I was handling her to see if she was a filly or a colt, I was amazed at how strong and tall she is.
Sheena was busy cleaning her up.
The placenta came when she started nursing. Always a good sign and glad it was complete.
Below she is learning how to walk.
Better pictures will be taken later, right now I'm heading in for a cup of coffee. Thankful for a safe delivery and a healthy foal!
