As I didn't not stall Dancer and Sheena last night I was out on the golf cart before 6:00 am checking them. No foals so all is well. Mark went to feed the cat then walk so I thought I would take my shower first but...there was no hot water. I loaded up my towels and drove over to the new barn to shower. Now once I used that shower I know we need to up the temperature on the water heater to at least 130. The shower head is so high up by the time the water gets to the feet it isn't hot. Mine here at the house is magnetic and I can just pull it down so have hot water to wash feet whenever needed. When Mark got back from his walk I told him about the no hot water but also told him that probably happened when we lost electricity. He turned it off when he turned the generator on so that was an easy fix and he had hot water here for his shower. I should have waited. We had another wonderful time in church. It really is great to be with our church family worshipping together. Hebrews 10:25 tells us, "Do not forsake the assembling of the of ourselves together." This morning was the senior breakfast downstairs with Craig speaking then Gregg Rumbold had the message upstairs. To watch that click HERE. Rick Kaisner was visiting to help celebrate Leon's 90th birthday and he had the afternoon message. Ever wonder about peer pressure, Rick brought out a couple men in the Bible that stood up to that pressure. If you want to watch that message click HERE. Sarah brought a plate and some screws and gave them to Joan after church. This is what was installed in Joan's wrist when she broke her arm riding the unicycle.

Full Heart
Right after church the oven was turned on and a cake mixed up and baked for dessert tonight. While that was baking 12 eggs were hard boiled to make deviled eggs and 2 pounds of carrots were put on to boil to make cheesy carrots then 3 pounds of bacon was fried up to use for toppings for the hamburgers. Mark went over to the barn to start making the hamburger patties while I cooked here. The food here was taken over to the barn by 3:30 pm. Mark had the patties made and started cooking a little after 4:00 as we were eating at 4:30 pm. Sarah and Nolan brought their 3 girls plus Israel and Elisabet as David and Stephanie had potluck tonight. Braelyn took the girls on the golf cart looking for wild flowers.
Mark had the prayer and then it was time to eat.
The hamburgers were delicious! After supper Sarah tacked up Cookie and gave each child that wanted one a riding lesson.
Above is River and below is Eden.
Below is Elisabet
Zion started in the round pen then took Cookie into the outdoor arena.
Israel rode next.
Berlica didn't need a riding lesson but jumped on Cookie to show her gallop.
Berlica rode Cookie back to the barn. I drove Braelyn home then went to the barn to start dishes and general clean up. The leftover food was brought back to the house and the dishes here were also done along with a load of towels. Our day was full and so is my heart. Love love love Sundays.
